iFish Alberta app adds rivers and streams

The App Door, developers of the popular iFish Alberta App, just released an update that now includes hundreds of rivers & streams across the province.

Until now, the popular fishing app covered over 700 lakes, ponds & reservoirs, but not any moving waters.

“It’s a great new feature, perfect for both fly fishing and shore fishing enthusiasts.” said Randy Chamzuk, president of The App Door “It truly is an All-In-One App for Fishing."

The iFish Alberta app originally launched in 2010 and still continues to top the charts in the App Stores. It currently ranks the #1 Sports App in Canada on iTunes. “We released iFish apps all across North America, and iFish Alberta is still one of the most popular” boasts Chamzuk.

The app has a sleek and simple interface that allows anyone to easily search for a lake or river by name or proximity. Once a water body is selected, a wide range of information is readily available including regulations, real-time fishing reports, weather conditions, best fishing times and more. Anglers can also review and mark HotSpots, record catches and learn tips, tricks and techniques to help increase the fishing experience.

iFish Alberta is available for purchase on the App Stores and supports both Apple and Android devices.
